Some government employers, like the Department of Justice, have many hiring divisions that all use the same email domain (for example, usdoj.gov). Flo now sets up each of these divisions as its own organization. When you sign in or register for an interview event, you choose the division you're working for, and Flo takes you into that division's account.
Who this applies to: recruiters and employer admins whose email domain is set up by Flo as shared across multiple divisions. If your organization doesn't share an email domain with other divisions, nothing changes for you.
What this means for you:
Privacy between divisions. You only see the jobs, interview schedules, and applicants for the division you selected. Other divisions on your domain can't see yours.
No more sign-in errors when you register for a second school's interview event.
Students see your division. Job and event cards show your full division name, for example Department of Justice — Civil Division, instead of just the parent agency.
Signing in and Selecting Your Division
After you sign in with your work email, Flo asks you to pick your division before taking you into the product.
Sign in to Flo with your email as usual.
On the Select your division page, look over the list of divisions on your email domain. They're listed alphabetically as Agency — Division.
If your domain has a lot of divisions, use the search field to find yours.
Select your division, then click Next. (Next stays disabled until you choose a division.)
You'll go to your division's account. The division you're working in shows in the header for the whole session.
Good to know:
You'll pick your division every time you sign in. Flo doesn't remember your last choice.
If your domain has only one division set up, Flo skips this screen and signs you straight in.
Registering for an Interview Event
When you register for a school's Interview Management event, you'll see the same Select your division page before the registration form.
Open the school's registration link and enter your email.
On Select your division, choose the division you're registering for, then click Next.
Fill out the event registration form. Your registration is saved under the division you selected.
If you're registering for events at more than one school, you won't get the old error that sent you back to the parent agency. Choose your division each time and you'll go straight to the right account.
For general steps on event registration, see Registration.
Switching Divisions and Working Across Divisions
To switch divisions, sign out and sign back in. You can't switch divisions in the middle of a session. When you sign back in, pick the other division.
If you work for more than one division, you can select any of them at sign-in. You'll see one division's jobs, interviews, and applicants at a time.
Finding older events and activity. For events and activity from before divisions were set up, sign in and select the parent agency, for example Department of Justice. If you don’t see the event there, contact Flo Support and we’ll help you find where to access it. Anything new you create goes to the division you picked.
Adding teammates: employer admins can still add users to their division the usual way. Those users will see the division picker the next time they sign in.
If your division isn't on the list, don't pick a different one. Contact Flo Support and we'll get it added.
FAQ
Why am I seeing a new screen when I sign in? Your email domain is shared by several hiring divisions. Picking your division keeps each division's recruiting separate and private.
Can other divisions see my jobs or interview schedules? No. People signed in to another division only see that division's content.
What will students see? Your full division name on job and event cards, for example Department of Justice — Civil Division. Students searching for the parent agency name will still find your postings.
I picked the wrong division. What do I do? Sign out, sign back in, and choose the correct division.
I see an error saying my division can't be found. Your domain may not be fully set up yet. Contact Flo Support so we can fix it.
