Within your Flo account, you can easily view the jobs currently available to your students on the Forward Job Board. You also have the ability to post new job opportunities directly from this section.
The Job Board option is located in the menu within your University account:
You can filter the jobs by location, practice area, and graduation year:
You can also sort jobs by their closing date, or alphabetically by firm name:
To copy a link to a job, hover over the three dots:
To view a job in more detail, simply click on it:
Things to note:
Currently, searching for very short search terms like ‘1L’ or ‘2L’ does not work
As a university admin, you will not have the ability to click to apply to a job
Post a Job
You can now post jobs to the Flo Forward job board directly from inside your account. Click on the Post Job button in the top right to open a job-entry modal:
The Post Job pop-up captures:
Job title
Employer name — selectable from a list of known employers, or entered as a brand-new employer
Job description (rich text)
Practice category
Office location(s)
Application open date
Application close date
Salary and pay frequency
Program length(s)
Link to the job application
Targeted graduation year
Clicking Post Job publishes the job to the board automatically, where students can apply like they usually would.
Additional notes:
IMPORTANT: Jobs posted are visible to all students on Flo Forward, not only students at your school. This is intentional — any student in the targeted graduation year should be eligible to apply.
Manage posted jobs: The ellipsis menu (top right of a job) lets you edit the job, copy the job link, or delete the job.
All Jobs / My Jobs filter: A new filter sits beneath the Post Job button, mirroring the event board. All Jobs is selected by default. Switching to My Jobs shows only jobs posted by your own law school (by you or any other admin on the account).
Future-dated / queued jobs: You can post a job with an application open date in the future. The job is effectively queued and won't appear on the board until the open date arrives. The page subheaders make this clear:
All Jobs: "All jobs currently visible to students."
My Jobs: "Jobs posted by the law school, including jobs not yet visible to students."
Reminder: Please check the board first before posting to avoid duplicate jobs!
