Forward Visibility settings are now available for law firm clients with any of the following packages. πŸŽ‰

  • Forward Outreach

  • Flo Recruit Pipeline Building

  • Flo Recruit Outreach Events or Events & Interviews (legacy package)

What is this for?

Forward Visibility settings allow you to post your recruiting events, from office receptions to campus tabling days, on Forward Events. This means brand awareness with the 12,000+ top law students using Forward to find networking opportunities, apply to jobs, and more!

How do I post my event?

Log into your Flo Recruit account as usual and follow these steps:

  1. Click into any upcoming Outreach Event in your account, or make a new one

  2. Look for the "Forward Visibility" button at the top of the page.

  3. Choose "Post on Forward" or "Do not post on Forward."

  4. Use "Event Targeting" if you only want to market your event to students from certain schools. Leave it blank to show the event to all students. Make sure to click Save.

  5. We'll remove your event from Forward automatically when your registration deadline or date of the event passes.

What kind of events should I post?

You can post any kind of recruiting event that you want law students to see. Because you can specify which law schools see it, you can post campus-specific events.

Some of the most popular event types you'll see posted on Forward Events are:

  • Office receptions (often targeted to all schools in the area)

  • Educational webinars (often un-targeted, so anyone can register)

  • Campus visits (targeted to a single school where a firm will be tabling)

  • Home for the Holidays (often un-targeted as large scale events)

  • Alumni chats (targeted by school, inviting students to meet alums at the firm)

What if I get too many registrations?

Champagne problems! Just kidding. πŸ˜„

If you're worried about posting your event because you don't want too many registrations or want to be selective about who attends, use the "Invite Only" setting.

Setting your event to "Invite Only" means that you get to review your RSVP list and accept or deny registrations, keeping track of numbers along the way. Denial emails like "We've reached capacity for this event - Stay in touch!" help students understand why they aren't granted immediate entry.

How to turn on "Invite Only":

  1. Go to your event and click "Edit Event" in the top right.

  2. Turn "Invite Only" from "No" to "Yes." Make sure to click Save at the bottom of the page.

  3. Use the "Start Quick Review" button to manage accepting, declining, and waitlisting candidates as they register. You can do so one at a time or in bulk.

Check out our Outreach Event collection for more information on event settings.
