Performance Management: Saved Filters

Written by Kaylee Welling

Save frequently used filters and quickly access the views you use most often throughout your review cycles. Saved Filters allow each Admin to create personalized views that can be reused across review cycles without rebuilding the same filter criteria every time. This feature is available on the main Review Cycles page, as well as the Reviewees and Reviewers tables within each review cycle.

Where Saved Filters Are Available

You can create and use Saved Filters on:

  • Review Cycles table

  • Reviewees table

  • Reviewers table

Each table type maintains its own collection of saved filters:

  • Filters saved on the Reviewees table are available on the Reviewees table in every review cycle.

  • Filters saved on the Reviewers table are available across all Reviewers tables.

  • The Review Cycles table has its own separate set of saved filters.

Create a Saved Filter

  1. Open the Filters panel by clicking the Filter (funnel) icon above the table:

  2. Build a filter by choosing a field (for example, Review Cycle Name), an operator (for example, "contains"), and a value. Use Add Filter to stack multiple criteria, Remove All to clear them, then Apply to update the list.

  3. Click Save New Filter to keep the current setup. Give it a name and, optionally, turn on Set as default view so Review Cycles opens with that filter already applied every time.

  4. Reopen a saved view from Saved Filters: select it and click Apply. Your default view is marked with a star.

  5. Rename, edit, or remove a saved view from the 3-dot menu on each saved filter.

Edit or Delete a Saved Filter

To manage an existing filter:

  1. Open the Saved Filters menu.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the saved filter.

  3. Choose to:

    • Edit the filter criteria

    • Delete the filter

Why Use Saved Filters?

Many admins return to the same groups of participants throughout a review cycle. Instead of recreating the same filters every time, Saved Filters let you jump directly to the information you need.

Common examples include:

  • Reviewees ready to be closed out

  • Reviewees still awaiting feedback

  • Business Professional review cycles

  • Associate review cycles

  • Outstanding reviewers who still need to submit evaluations

Saved Filters work alongside Flo's saved table layouts. While layouts remember how your table is displayed (columns, order, and sorting), Saved Filters remember which records appear in the table. Together, they make it easy to switch between purpose-built views in just a few clicks.

Things to Know

  • Saved filters are personal and are only visible to the Admin who created them.

  • Saved filters are not shared with other Admins in your organization.

  • Filters persist across review cycles for the same table type.

  • Editing or deleting a saved filter updates it everywhere it is available for that table type.

  • Setting a filter as your default view automatically applies it whenever you open that table. Your default filter is identified with a star.

  • Saved Filters complement saved table layouts—they control what you see, while layouts control how you see it.
