The ability for admins to submit and edit evaluations is here! Admins can edit and submit forms that are Not Started or In Progress, in addition to editing already completed reviews.
Starting and Submitting an Evaluation for a Reviewer
To do so, open the desired review cycle and locate the reviewer or reviewee whose evaluation you would like to complete for them.
Click their name to open the slide-out menu. Under the appropriate evaluation, select Edit Review
From here, the evaluation form will appear where you may enter the feedback, save as a draft, or submit the evaluation.
Editing a Submitted Review
The process for editing submitted evaluations is essentially the same! Simply open the desired review cycle and locate the reviewer or reviewee whose evaluation you would like to complete.
Click their name to open the slide-out menu. Under the appropriate evaluation, select "View Review"
For already submitted evaluations, click "Edit Evaluation" to make the form editable again.
Be sure to click "Save and Submit" to keep the changes you make.
Viewing Submissions
The admin view shows a “Submitted by [Admin Name] on behalf of [Reviewer]” label, while reviewees only see a completed review.
*If a Reviewer and Admin Edit the Same Form at the Same Time
If a reviewer has also saved a draft while you are working on the same form, you will see a pop-up notification the next time you click Save, letting you know the reviewer recently saved changes too.
From there, you can:
Save and Overwrite — this overwrites the reviewer's changes and deletes their saved version
OR
Discard the changes — this exits the form without saving, returning you to the Review Cycle page.
Clicking the [X] on this notification returns you to the form without saving, giving you a chance to copy the text elsewhere (such as a Word document or email) before deciding.
Whoever saves most recently is what's reflected in the final version and attribution. Reviewers will not see this notification.
*Note: As a best practice, let the reviewer know that you will be completing the evaluation on their behalf and ask them to log out of Flo before you begin. This helps prevent conflicting edits and ensures the review is submitted accurately.
