Work Allocation FAQ: Summer Associates

How do I get access?

A member of your team will send you a link. We recommend bookmarking this link. You will be taken to a screen like the one shown below:

Enter your email. If you would like to remain signed in for up to 90 days, click the "Remember this device" box. Click Submit. A magic link will be sent to your email.

I received an error message when signing in, what do I do?

If you received the below error message, make sure that you are using your firm email. If this does not work, reach out to a system administrator to request that they add you as a summer associate to the program first.

How do I create a project?

Click on the New Project button in the upper-right corner.

Once the project is created, it will populate in the My Projects table.

How do I see the list of projects and assign one to myself?

Click on the Unassigned Projects tab. Click the project's title to view more information.

When viewing the project, you can click the Self Assign Project button.

The same can be accomplished from the Unassigned Projects page. To do so, check the box next to the project's name and click the Self Assign button.

Note that, once you claim a project, no other Summer Associates will see it on the Unassigned Projects tab. However, depending on the number of summers needed, a system administrator may assign additional associates to work with you on the project.

How do I edit a project?

Click on the project from the My Projects table. Next, click the Edit Project button in the upper-right.

Don't forget to save your changes via the Edit Project button at the bottom of the form.

How do I mark a project as complete?

Click on the project from the My Projects table. Next, click the edit button in the upper-right.

Next, click the drop-down menu to select to the Completed status. Note that this will trigger a notification to the assigning attorney.

How do I change my practice area interests?

From the Program Profile tab, click the Edit button next to My Practice Areas.

You can add up to 5 practice areas. You can also remove a practice area via the trashcan icon. You can also drag and drop via the grid symbol to rearrange.

How do I complete my self evaluation?

You can access this form via the Self Evaluations tab and clicking Submit Feedback.

If you do not see this option under the Self Evaluations tab, reach out to a system administrator.

Can I save a draft of my self evaluation?

This is not currently possible. We recommend creating a backup in a separate document if you are not ready to submit.

Can I make changes to my self evaluation once I submit?

No, your self evaluation will be locked as soon as you click the Submit Feedback button.
