Flo’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) supports automated job distribution to LinkedIn. This integration allows all publicly listed jobs in your Flo ATS to automatically appear on your organization’s LinkedIn Company Page, no manual posting required.
This guide walks you through how the integration works, what LinkedIn requires, and how to set up the required feed in Flo.
What You Need Before You Begin
To activate your XML integration, you will need:
An active LinkedIn Company Page
Access to a LinkedIn Recruiter account or at least one paid LinkedIn Job Slot
Your Flo Public Jobs feed URL, which has the format below. Note: You will need to add your own Organization friendly name, which is the shortened version of your organization’s name that you can find in the URL of the Flo pages you access.
Example with an Organization friendly name inserted: https://florecruit.com/api/v2/public-jobs/allenwells/career-page-jobs
Step 1: Request Your Flo Jobs Feed URL
Create your Flo Public Jobs feed URL, mentioned in the What You Need Before You Begin section above, for your organization or contact Flo Support via the Help Chat in the bottom of your screen to receive it.

Step 2: Submit the Feed to LinkedIn
Follow the steps below to set up the integration. If you’d prefer, you can also follow the steps provided by LinkedIn in this training guide.
Login to LinkedIn
In the top right corner, click LinkedIn Recruiter or click your Avatar above “Me”. Then, click "Job Posting Account" as shown below.
3. If you clicked LinkedIn Recruiter first, click the Jobs tab on the top bar navigation of your screen. If you clicked the Job Posting account, you should see a screen that shows your active Jobs on LinkedIn. Your screen should look similar to the one you see below. If you have never set up an ATS integration before, you may not have the Basic tab.
4. From the Jobs screen, you should see an option that says “Job sources for automated job postings” or “Job sources.” Near that, click View/Edit.
5. In the "Connect your ATS" slide-in window on the right, open the drop-down list and choose the correct source.
6. Select the LinkedIn Jobs XML, and then enter in the fields that appear:
a. Name of job source
b. Job source URL: Enter the URL for your jobs as detailed above.
c. Add the estimated number of expected open jobs from source. This doesn’t need to be precise – just a rough estimate.
d. Decide if you want to enable or disable job backfill:
aa. When backfill is enabled, unused promoted Job Slots will automatically be filled with the most recently posted jobs from your ATS or career site. You will also designate a default person to be the job poster for all backfill jobs.
bb. When backfill is disabled, promoted Job Slots that are unused will be left empty. Jobs from your ATS will automatically go into “Basic Jobs.” Basic Jobs appear on your LinkedIn Company Page. You can select any Basic Job and promote them to Promoted Jobs, which will put distribute them across the LinkedIn network in addition to the:
e. Company page on LinkedIn: Search and select your Company page
f. Applicant source tracking code: Tracking measures whether candidates who click your jobs on LinkedIn complete the application in your ATS, providing a more accurate view of ROI to inform future job postings. We do not yet offer that, so mark that this does not exist or leave it blank.
g. Additional information (optional): You can leave this blank.
7. After you’ve completed these fields, click Submit or Save at the bottom of the page.
8. LinkedIn will review the feed for 2-3 business days, and then notify you when the feed is live. LinkedIn will ensure your jobs are displaying accurately.
9. After you’ve received the notification, login to LinkedIn and go to your Company page to see your jobs automatically listed!
How Job Updates Work After Activation
✔️ New Jobs
When you publish a public job in Flo’s ATS, LinkedIn automatically pulls it into your feed during the next refresh cycle, usually daily.
✔️ Updated Jobs
Changes to titles, descriptions, or locations in Flo sync automatically.
✔️ Closed Jobs
When a job is marked closed in Flo, LinkedIn removes it on the next update.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will jobs appear as sponsored/paid listings?
No. Feeds populate Basic Listings, which are free, organic job posts. To promote a job using one of your job slots, you can do so by logging into your LinkedIn Job Posting or LinkedIn Recruiter account.
How often does LinkedIn update the feed?
Typically every 24 hours, though LinkedIn does not guarantee a set schedule.
What happens to the Jobs I currently have posted manually on LinkedIn Recruiter?
If you already have jobs posted on LinkedIn Recruiter in your paid job slots, and those jobs are posted on your public Careers Page Jobs list in your Flo ATS, duplicates of your manually posted jobs will be posted in Basic Jobs. It is easy to delete the duplicate manually posted job. For all jobs posted via the integration, duplicates will not be created.
What should I do if there are jobs that appear on my public careers job page that I do not want listed on LinkedIn?
Some clients create a public job in Flo’s ATS for general submissions. They do not want that job available on their LinkedIn Company Page. It’s easy to block those jobs. When that job gets picked up via LinkedIn’s integration, you can block that job from posting.
